At the confluence of the Kizu River, Uji River, and Katsura River, the levee separating the Uji River and the Kizu River is called "Sewaritei" and is open to the public as part of the national park, Yodogawa River Park. Approximately 220 Somei Yoshino cherry trees are planted along a stretch of approximately 1.4 km, and in the spring, the area is bustling with visitors who come to view the cherry blossoms. In 2017, the Sakura Deaikan opened as a local landmark, featuring a 25-meter observation tower offering a panoramic view of the cherry blossom trees along the Sewaritei, as well as a tourist information center, rest areas, and Events plaza.
